Happy, Happy Holiday Cards

It’s that time of year again! Everyone is wearing their ugliest holiday sweaters, sipping fancy peppermint coffee, and playing holly-jolly holiday tunes. Glitter is everywhere, and the air smells like chocolate chip cookies. For me—and many others—it’s one of the best and busiest times of the year! With presents to wrap, sweet treats to bake, and lots of fun, family-filled days, the Christmas season is truly magical. One of my favorite things to do, though, is make my own cards. This year, I used only materials I already had: vintage sheet music; watercolor paper and paints; a stamp and ink; and a black, artist pen. Take a peek at how they turned out!

    About

Hi there! I'm Lindsay, a high school art teacher and part-time pottery instructor. In my life-before-teaching, I was a full-time studio potter with a passion for sharing my love of art--which is exactly how I transitioned from artist to art teacher! I still enjoy creating my own artwork, though, and you can find it all right here. Or, you can head on over to my Teaching Website and learn more about my life as a high school art teacher.
